You take the lead,
I’ll take your hand,
I’ll follow you just like we planned.
Up to your room and lock the door...
Not sorry.

You lead me through the lobby, clutching my wrist, pulling me towards the elevator in the hotel lobby. You're more excited about this than I expected you to be. I can tell by the way you attack me with your lips immediately after the elevator doors close.

I push you away for a moment, asking, "Now, you're sure about this?" You nod anxiously. I continue, "But what about-?" but you cut me off, placing your finger on my lips, shushing me with a smile.

"Don't worry about her right now," you tell me. "This is what I want."

The elevator doors open at our floor, and you grab my wrist again, tugging lightly as we head towards your room - our room. You pull the key card out of your pocket and slip it into the door, and as soon as it indicates that the door is unlocked, you quickly push open the door and run in, leading me to the bed and pulling me with you as you fall onto it. I fall beside you, and we're laughing.

You roll over, closer to me, and kiss me tenderly, and oh, I've waited so long for this. I'm hoping more than anything that you're not going to regret this. I know I won't.

It's morning now. And you're still here, thank god you're still here. I don't know why I thought you might leave, maybe it's just because that happens in movies all the time and, oh, I don't know. But you're still here. And you're so beautiful, you always are, but you're sleeping, and it's so peaceful and wonderful. And I hope that this isn't the last time I get to see you like this. You told me that this won't be the last time, that it's the first of many, many times. I trust you, but a small part of me is so, so scared that you're lying.

And then you open your eyes, and you're staring into mine, and I don't know what I was thinking. I know you would never, could never do that to me. You smile sleepily, and say, "Good morning."

"Good morning," I reply, and you sit up a bit, pecking me on the lips. Another smile. And I know that once you're fully awake, you'll get up, find out where I threw your jeans last night, get your phone out of your pocket, and call her to tell her it's over - because you chose me over her, and you know what? I'm not sorry.

I look into your eyes, I know

So tell her any way you can,
Just let her go, she'll understand.
And if she doesn't, that's too bad...

Haha, actually, technically, this doesn't even have to be Panic!. You could pretty much make it out to be almost ANYONE you wanted. XD Which is weird, because I don't usually write like that. But um, if Ryden isn't your cup of tea (Ryden is the couple I wrote this for, really), well, there you go. Make it Joncer. Or RyJon. Or Rycer. Or Brencer. Or Jon...don? Or PETERICK! Or GOD, I DON'T KNOW, THIS BANDOM HAS EATEN MY BRAIN OKAY.

Ahem. Now that I got that out of the way, I gotta give credit for the song/title to Terra Naomi, whose new album just came out today. And this song, like, the second time I heard it when I was actually listening to the lyrics for the first time, I was like, "ohmgosh, this is like, so Ryden, like, lol Brendon's all like "I DON'T CARE ABOUT KELTIE WHATEVER YOU SO WANT ME RYAN" and omg I must write fic."

Also, I TEND TO WRITE REALLY SHORT FICS I'M SORRY. D: I'm also sorry that I haven't been submitting to deviantART much, but like, I haven't been able to draw very well, and other things have been eating me, like, um, Neopets, and bandom, and OH I STARTED SCHOOL TODAY.

Also I'm sorry this isn't very good. D: Hopefully I'll write (or draw) something better soon.

EDIT: WTF, has someone been reccing this or something? Because I just got like, 4 favs in one day, which is quite a feat for me. o___O
